Dear all,

I have published a version of the Aeneid rephrased in prose. If you would like to get a free PDF copy, please go to this website:

http://coderch-greek-latin-grammar.weebly.com/

The main characteristics: (this is just the text on the back cover, sorry for the background colour)

Vergil's Aeneid, rephrased in prose in order to offer an easy reading while at the same time keeping the same words used by the author.

  * WHOLE TEXT: The whole text of the Aeneid, not a summary, and in prose.
  * SAME ORIGINAL WORDS: All the same words that Vergil wrote, with additions (clearly indicated) to facilitate reading.
  * PRIMARY AND SECONDARY COLUMN ON EACH PAGE: Primary column containing the prose text, secondary column containing many notes to help with vocabulary, difficult grammatical constructions, etc.
  * VOCABULARY NOTES ... ALSO IN LATIN: All notes (around 7,600) given in the secondary column are written in Latin, thus allowing the reader to remain immersed in the language itself.
  * INTRODUCTION (IN ENGLISH): The techniques that have been followed both for the rephrasing of the text and for the notes in the secondary column are clearly explained in the Introduction (in English).

So, it is a book whose main public would be students who must read parts of the Aeneid but are still not too confident with the language; reading the same text in prose and with vocabulary help as a previous step may help them.

Note: For those of you who want to get a printed copy in Amazon, please ignore the curious note that says that the reading age is 10-18, this is due to a mistake when setting up the detail page, we are trying to remove that line.
