The School of Humanities at the University of Auckland invites expressions of interest for a fixed-term 0.5 position as a Professional Teaching Fellow in Ancient History and Greek from approximately 1 February 2019 to 30 November 2019.  The appointee will be expected to teach half of the upper level undergraduate course ANCHIST 256/356 The Ancient World at War and undertake other undergraduate level teaching including ancient Greek language.

Applicants should have completed a postgraduate degree, preferably at the doctoral level, or be undertaking a postgraduate degree. Tertiary-level teaching experience in language is highly desirable. Expressions of interest should include a covering letter, curriculum vitae, and the names and contact details of two referees.
